Comments: Also ntroduced from the Black Volta River, Burkina Faso in 1960 and moved to the aquaculture station of Aboisso in 1963 (Ref. 1989).Introduced in aquaculture station of Kokondékro, Bouaké (Ref. 1989). Introduced into Ayaini (1962) and Kossou (1971) reservoirs. Known from Niger River basin (Ref. 1989). Usually seen in the Kossou Reservoir of the Bandama River basin (Ref. 272, 1739), Bia River - including the Ayame Reservoir (1963) (Ref. 272, 1739, 13364, 50316), Agnébi River (Ref. 50316), Eholie and Noe rivers (Ref. 83625).
